We work closely with our clients to guide and conclude transactions of any size, covering hotels, restaurants and pubs, leisure, forecourts and convenience retail businesses, social care and elderly care, childcare & education facilities, dental practices and pharmacies.


Purpose of the RolenTo sell and acquire businesses on behalf of both private and corporate clients in the pubs & restaurants sector covering the West Midlands area.


Duties and ResponsibilitiesnTo take responsibility for the business within your allocated patch and sector;nTo build the client base within your patch;nTo visit and talk to clients about their businesses and its special features;nTo collect information about the property and take photographs;nTo estimate the value of the property using the correct estimation calculations and processes;nTo sell Christie & Co's services to clients;nTo market and promote properties for sale;nTo send out details of new businesses in the market to database contacts;nTo advise clients about the buying and selling process;nTo arrange and carry out the viewings of properties;nTo represent the sellers in negotiations with prospective buyers;nTo monitor the sales as they proceed and liaise with all interested parties including mortgage brokers, solicitors, surveyors and other agents;nTo advise clients and help buyers to decide what they want to buy;nTo make sure that a price is agreed that is acceptable to both the buyer and the seller;nTo keep up to date with trends in the local commercial property market;nTo respond to queries via email and telephone;nTo maintain administrative records.

Working Relationships and Contacts


You will work within a small group of Business Agents, which forms part of a national team of specialist Agents and Valuers.

You will report to a Regional Director, whilst retaining a good degree of autonomy.

There will be plenty of support from a wide variety of experienced Business Agents who are leaders in their specialist fields.

Our brand, company reputation and market knowledge will help you to open doors and become a trusted advisor for clients to rely upon with confidence.

You will also work closely with Christie Group colleagues to cross-sell and gain business.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience within commercial or residential Estate Agency business;

EssentialnExceptional negotiation and communication skills

EssentialnVery strong IT skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office;

EssentialnKnowledge of relevant legislation;

EssentialnKnowledge of the Property sector and Property trends;

EssentialnRelevant Real Estate degree;

DesirablenExperience of working with Salesforce; DesirablenUK Driver's licence and confident with driving long distances;
