The Recipe

  • To provide a range of administrative support services to the Distribution Department, ensuring the Warehouse and Driver Operations teams can deliver a professional service that meets the needs of the customer and the business.

The Role

  • To provide admin support for customers service related queries
  • To organise & support managers with Health & Safety audits, Fleet Audits & risk assessments
  • To facilitate the collection of driver data and records to ensure compliance with Transport Operators Regulations i.e. licence checks, Tacho download.
  • To collect defect reporting sheets & liaise with 3rd party service suppliers to support ongoing fleet maintenance.
  • To organise and provide admin support for distribution training & development activities, in order to ensure they are effectively monitored.

Essential Ingredients

  • Previous experience in customer service or site administration role supporting a number of individuals
  • Systems: Fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages with a willingness to learn and expand IT skills when required (SAP desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Works using own initiative in a systematic and organised manner prioritising & managing own workload
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Numeracy skills
  • Team player
