About the Job:

I am a 29 year old male, living independently in Crewe CW3 area with my Bengal cat.

I have Aspergers and Autism and I am looking for a support worker to support me for 15 hours per week to access the community and support around my home.

I enjoy skin care, fashion, gaming and I like going for walks and to visit historical sites.

Main Tasks:

Domestic:

Support and prompting with domestic duties around my home including cleaning the dishes, emptying the bin and general home maintenance.


Social/General:
Support to attend appointments and support in the community. I sometimes get a little overwhelmed in busy places and meeting new people.

To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.

Person Specification:

Have Autism training/awareness or be willing to complete the training

Have experience of working with vulnerable adults.

Punctuality and reliability essential.

Flexible in the hours and times that you can work.

Be patient and supportive.

Be friendly and outgoing.

Be honest and trustworthy.

Be respectful of the adult's dignity, at all times.

Understand the need for privacy and confidentiality.

You should have a thorough understanding of personal safety.

A willingness to undergo any training highlighted by the employer.

You should have some knowledge and understanding of risks.
