Here at Office Angels Edinburgh we have an exciting opportunity to join a highly credible chartered accountants based in Edinburgh City Centre as a Payroll Assistant The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with a salary around £26,000 dependant onexperience.

The client also offers a hybrid working model.

Role Overview

  • Reviewing client information and processing weekly, monthly, fortnightly & yearly payrolls
  • Processing new starters & leavers
  • Dealing with all aspects of statutory payments and deductions
  • Processing information for external third parties.
  • Producing and analysing reports
  • Reconciliation of payrolls
  • Advising employees on PAYE and NIC matters
  • Dealing with all aspects of autoenrolment
  • Processing of construction industry returns
  • Ability to attend to any client queries or Revenue issues
  • Manual tax and NI calculations as required

Role Requirements
-
Up to date knowledge of PAYE rules / auto-enrolment pension:

  • Good administration, planning and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and able to use own initiative
  • Experience of IRIS Payroll Professional preferred but not essential
