This is a job-share post, and the post holder will work across a seven day service including bank holiday's depending on team/service demand.

The team provides 24/7 cover with predominantly 10-hour shifts, flexibility in work pattern is essential. You need to be a car user and have a vehicle available for work use.

This team coverage extends South/Southwest towards Watton, covering the geographical area mostly south of A47 and west of A11.


We are looking for a kind, compassionate, enthusiastic, innovative, and emotionally resilient senior midwife who can demonstrate higher level clinical skills and work independently.

You must possess excellent organisational and communication skills. You will have sound management skills, resilience and the ability to meet the demands of a busy clinical service. In this role you will be expected to demonstrate passion for promoting normality, and be proactive in supporting change.


Within this role you will work closely with the wider team of community midwives and maternity support workers in providing high level, safe and compassionate antenatal, and postnatal care in a traditional community model, whilst providing intrapartum support to our homebirth team.

You will need to demonstrate high levels of professionalism at all times, acting as an exemplary role model and open to embracing positive change and transformation of maternity services to meet the needs of the local population of women.
