An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 senior nurse to join our Same Day Emergency Care Team at Salford. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead and develop a team of skilled, dedicated and highly motivated individuals.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dedicated, committed and reliable experienced registered nurse with senior experience at a band 6 or band 7, who is interested in becoming part of the Same Day Emergency Care team. This is a forward thinking role and you will need to be a resilient leader who can lead change, and motivate and support staff at all levels.
You will be experienced in acute care, and will hold previous senior experience in a similar setting.
You will need to be clinically astute and have confidence in managing a broad spectrum of undifferentiated presentations.
You will be a professional who truly understands the need for care, consideration and respect for our patients but can also lead by example and apply these qualities to your team members.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receivea full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
