We are specialists in the high-profile global plastics industry.

As well as providing insight and intelligence sourced by our highly respected teams of consultants and researchers, we organise events in order to bring together the world's experts to debatethe issues and find a new way forward for plastics, for both consumers and business.

What you will be doing in this role;

  • Generate sales and maximise revenues including upselling and crossselling across a defined portfolio of events managing up to 12 events per year
  • Exceed sales targets by successfully creating and developing working relationships with new and existing customers, using proactive means (such as regular calls)
  • Responsible for the sales order process
  • Work from incoming leads and call lists provided through lead generation activity
  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers throughout the sales process
  • Ensure customer requests and or concerns are appropriately handled quickly and efficiently
  • Work closely with the Event Sales Manager to achieve sales objectives
  • Cold calling new contacts to promote and sell AMI and our product offering
  • Deputise for the Event Sales Manager as required
  • Track event sales targets ensuring they align with event objectives
  • Provide regular feedback to the Event Sales Manager and where appropriate, the wider sales management team
  • Opportunity for international travel to attend events

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proven organisation and time management skills
  • Selfmotivated and proactive with the ability to manage own workload and budgets
