JOB DESCRIPTION:

An excellent opportunity to join a growing team of Emerging Markets brokers in the City of London . The successful candidate can look forward to joining a well-established and growing desk to partake in executing inter-bank trades while building and managing relationships with large investment banks.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

· Minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or STEM degree from a leading university

· Thorough interest and understanding of financial market dynamics

· Work experience/internships in the professional service sector would be advantageous

· Previous experience in brokerage/sales/trading is desirable but not compulsory

· Knowledge of additional foreign language is highly desirable; knowledge of Czech, Polish or Hungarian is a plus.

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Detail oriented, well organised with an ability to multitask

· Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office with focus on Excel

· Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work side by side with senior FX & Rates inter-dealer brokers

· Learn financial methodology that will help you excel your broking career

· Assist with trade admin

· Assist in managing pricing screens

· Build and develop relationships with already existing clients

· Expand the network of clients that the firm currently covers

· Further responsibilities may be driven by the individual's performance and specific skills

· Motivated and driven trainees can expect a significant bonus after the first year of training

Education: Minimum of a 2:1 bachelor's degree Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or STEM subject

Salary : 40k plus generous performance bonus
