Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Health Engagement and Advocacy (IHE&A) organization has been created to drive meaningful impact to participant health and wellbeing by reinventing the clinical trial experience. The Innovative Health Engagement & Advocacy organization connects teams across development to novel capabilities and solutions, unleashing the potential of innovation to drive broader access to innovative medicines, and enrich the healthcare experience for all.

As the Associate Director of Site Engagement within IHE&A, your role will be vital in helping to create engagement strategies that resonate with our sites to position Johnson & Johnson as sponsor of choice. In collaboration with our Site Voice team, you will create insight projects that help to identify key areas of opportunity to enhance site engagement. Converting insights into actions will be key to ensure we are building a best-in-class site engagement model. Your contribution in this position will play an important part in optimizing our site engagement strategies and facilitating successful clinical trial operations globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to support a coordinated approach to site engagement, driving cohesion and increasing effectiveness.
• Partner with the IHE&A Advocacy team to create Site Voice projects that deliver actionable insights.
• Shape and develop innovative site engagement strategies aimed at fostering long-term engagement across the Johnson & Johnson.
• Support the development of tailored engagement approaches and tools for priority markets, including robust segmentation processes to optimize effectiveness.
• Lead the discovery of new ways of working with functions including Medical Affairs Organization (MAO) to establish a best-in-class Site Engagement model.
• Establish an asset library of tools that inspire both our sites and employees, creating a sense of pride in the work we do at Johnson & Johnson.
• Work collaboratively with DUs and GCO countries to understand their needs in site engagement, in support of the global Johnson & Johnson R&D portfolio.
• Adopt a client service mentality to ensure a coordinated approach to engagement across IHE&A.
  

Qualifications:

Education:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a scientific or health-related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  

Experience and Skills:

• 8+ years of relevant experience in clinical trial execution with a pharmaceutical company and/or a contract research organization (CRO) is required.
• Consistent track record in building site relationships is required.
• Ability to work independently with strong influencing skills is required.
• Strong drive and sense of urgency is required.
• Sharp analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems by identifying root cause and creating multi-faceted solutions is required.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to integrate new services into the organization is required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence partners across matrix organizations is required.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous and complex environments is required.
• Strong planning and tracking skills, customer focused, well organized, detail oriented and capable of managing multiple projects is required.
  

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550.

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k).

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

• Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year.
• Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year.
• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year.
• Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year.
