A modern commercial law firm based in Leeds City Centre are looking for an Events Coordinator/Manager to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with previous events management experience, to work at a leading firm involved indelivering a range of services to some of the UK's most well-known brands.
The role:
- Working with our Partners and fee earners to strategically develop internal and external events
- Event planning and organising, and where required overseeing the running
- Preparation of event plans and timelines
- Working with Partners/fee earners to create targeted mailing lists
- Venue research and selection
- Management of supplier relationships
- Preparation of relevant presentation and marketing materials
- Communication and publicity of events in liaison with our Digital Content & Social Media Manager
- Management of event budget
- Following up after events to assess success and return on investment
- Management of events through Microsoft Dynamics, creating mailing lists, recording responses, and negotiating and managing budgets
- Providing strategic reports to the Partnership on the success of events
What we are looking for:
- IT literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and CRM databases
- At least 5 years' experience in an events management role, preferably within a professional organisation
- An individual with strong administrative and organisational skills, able to use their own initiative and work to tight deadlines
- A strong, proactive, and enthusiastic team player
- An individual with strong communication skills, able to work with partners and staff at all levels, as well as external suppliers and consultants.
