Salary: £32,000
Role Overview/Purpose:
This is a new position in the CRE Communications and Experience function within the business. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global workspace transformation programme and be a driving force behind internal event management for our client.
The successful candidate will support the CRE Communications and Experience team with all aspects of the event booking process across several of our key locations. As the Events Booking Coordinator you will act as the liaison between stakeholders and the workspace teams to communicate all relevant requirements for large meetings and events as well as oversee the Global Workspace Experience calendar. Confidence in health, safety and compliance will also be integral to the success of this role ensuring that all events are delivered in line with the client's global policies. This is a hybrid position whereby you will remotely support other locations with an expectation to travel regularly on both a national and international level.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of success in event coordination, strong knowledge around in-office health, safety, and security, excel in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for creativity when it comes to innovation and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to all stakeholder enquiries and booking requests regarding events ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly
- Full ownership and management of the Workspace Experience calendar ensuring this is always kept up to date
- Coordinating multiple events at once across several different key office locations and supporting with global event delivery
- Attention for detail when concerning compliance, health, and safety of events and confident in writing risk assessments
- Be process driven, supportive in developing new ways of work and keeping SOPs up to date
- Communicate requirements with the Workspace teams to ensure events are being delivered successfully and in-line with company policies and procedures
- Excellent at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and the wider CRE team
- Tech savvy and confident using our in-house facilities systems and MS Outlook/Office systems
- Take ownership of managing event statistics, post event reporting and ongoing data management as when required
- Be well organised with the ability to prioritise requests and meet deadlines
- Comfortable with regular travel on both a national and international level

Education, Qualifications & Experience
- 2-3 years of service experience with an emphasis on events, hospitality, corporate services, property management, or equivalent office management experience
- You enjoy event planning and have independently planned workplace events of several types
- You have a strong understanding of workspace health, safety and compliance
- You have managed outside vendor relationships e.g. external event companies
- You have excellent customer service skills, with a strong positive presence
- You are proactive, resourceful, and organised
- Valid passport and relevant travel documents to allow for international travel
