LOCATION

Hybrid with a requirement to work a minimum of one day a week at the Manchester head office. (UK travel required)

HOURS

Part-time (25 hrs. per week)

SALARY

£44,000 FTE / £29,333 pro rata

UKROEd Ltd is a private company responsible for the delivery of the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) on behalf of the Police service. It is committed to educating and training drivers who commit low-level traffic offences.

Overview of the Role

The Information Governance Officer will oversee assurance activities related to the information governance framework, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations and privacy laws.

Principle Duties
  • Act as the primary contact for information rights and freedom of information requests
  • Provide training on data protection and information governance
  • Support data incidents reporting and analysis
  • Assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
  • Stay updated on information governance and data protection legislation
Person Specification
  • Experience in data protection and information governance
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Team player with a commitment to inclusion and diversity
  • Ability to use initiative and deliver high-quality work
  • Recognized data protection qualification is a plus
  • Experience with One Trust system preferred
