I am working on behalf of a highly reputable, independent, domiciliary company, who are looking for a Domiciliary Care Manager for their established office in Canterbury, Kent.


The Company:
Deliver bespoke homecare in the area
Independent care provider
Provide care to around 65 clients at present in the community
10 years established
Offer personal care and assist with medication to mainly the elderly
Value their employees, offering ongoing training and opportunities for career progression

The role:
To lead and manage within company policies and procedures
To take responsibility for the day to day running of the domiciliary service
To ensure the business is fully compliant with CQC and maintains high level of quality
To work closely with the company directors in identifying opportunities for growth
Recruit and retain care staff
To build effective professional relationships and to promote the agency at external events
To ensure clients have care appropriate to their needs and maintain high standards of care and service
To manage, recruit and support staff ensuring they have training necessary for their role

Required competencies:
Previous care management experience is highly desirable
Domiciliary Care experience is essential
Good knowledge of CQC regulations
People management skills
Knowledge of Kent area - desirable
Excellent personal skills
Driven and ambitious
