Administrator (Circa 40 hours / week, Saturdays may occasionally be required)
Hoban Waste Management Ltd opened a transfer station in Aylesbury in 2018.

We have achieved significant and continuous growth over the last few years and now require an Administrator to join our team.

The role is based in Aylesbury (Griffin Lane).


The individual we are looking for will be diligent in their attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking, able to work under own supervision and have a flexible approach to taking on all tasks to support the Business.


The role will include the following tasks

  • Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate departments
  • Checking supplies of essential inventory (Diesel) and placing delivery orders as required
  • Site walk around checks and site diary updating (weather conditions etc.)
  • Data input to spreadsheet and other software and assisting Management Accountant with basic accounts tasks (invoice posting, cash allocation etc.)
  • Weighbridge operation booking vehicles in and out to the site, liaison with Site operatives to direct vehicles to correct loading / unloading bays
  • Ordering of supplies (stationary / PPE etc.)
  • General filing duties
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate for an Administrator

Essential experience and skills

  • Good telephone manner
  • Numeracy and accuracy


IT knowledge/skills
  • Microsoft products (Excel, Word)
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • Team player
This role is full time 40 to 45 hours per week with occasional Saturday working required.


Experience of the above tasks will be of an advantage to applicants, though training and support can be provided to improve skills and knowledge where applicable.
