Job Overview


The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of support to the chief executive, board of trustees and executive team and to manage the day-to-day support activities such as HR and facilities management.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide administrative support to Chief Exec, the Board of Trustees, its subgroups, and executive team as needed
  • Actively manage the Chief Executive's schedule and logistics

3. Ensures the organisation's premises and infrastructure meet needs of the team

  • Administers routine HR activities on behalf of managers
  • Ensures the smooth running of head office functions, supplies and consumables
  • Spots opportunities and ways to implement improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of office functions
  • Able to deal with sensitive and confidential issues in a professional manner
  • Supports teams across the organisation to manage peaks in activities when needed
  • Takes action notes of key meetings and ensures actions are followed up
  • Member of Health and Safety committee, ensuring premises and activities are compliant with regulations

Person specification

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Experience as a PA/ office manager for a minimum of 2 years
  • IT literate and competent in Microsoft Office products
  • Can do attitude; pragmatic and approachable
  • Good problem solver
  • Understands and can help overcome the challenges of implementing change

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
