JOB TITLE:
Learning & Development Project Coordinator

LOCATION:
Cheddar, Somerset.

SALARY:
up to £40,000 PA DOE

HOURS: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (hybrid working optional - 3 days in office, 2 from home) - Would also consider a 4-day week (28 hours).

THE ROLE:

  • Working with the Learning and Development Team your role will be the focal point for several projects relating to training and development of the category management and operations teams.
  • Programs will be initiated by the L&D team but will need close project management to ensure timely completion as well as monitoring the implementation and results.
  • The projects will stretch across many departments, Stakeholder engagement and management is therefore a key requirement of the role.
  • You will need to track and monitor project progress and the accountable stakeholders using an interactive project management tool.
  • Chair regular weekly project calls and feed back to the steering committee on progress and key decisions required to ensure no delays to the delivery timeline.
  • In addition, as part of the Global Category Management team you will be involved in ad hoc projects to support the growth of key strategic initiatives.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Project Management
  • E-Learning & Training an advantage, but not essential.
  • People management experience preferred.
  • Very personable with excellent communication and people skills
  • Powerful influencing skills to bring people along the journey.
  • Team player and willing to go extra miles to support the business.
  • Highly Organised & high level in attention to detail
  • Strong administration
  • Advanced project management skills
  • High level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint essential
  • Able to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Confident and quick to learn when using industry specific and tailored IT systems such as SCORM.
  • High tolerance of ambiguity and thrive in change.
  • Committed to continuous improvement.
