Key responsibilities of the role

  • Managing the reception area, including welcoming customers and guests
  • Conducting inductions for new members of the team, issuing them with the PPE and updating records accordingly to ensure compliance to company policies
  • Managing inventory and purchasing of PPE and office suppliers, including stationery to ensure smooth office and site operations
  • Issuing of contacts of employment
  • Coordination and booking of staff training, health checks etc. Filing of certificates and records.
  • Performing data entry roles, including updating records and databases for personnel, health and safety and other data
  • Liaison with the companies insurers in respect of updates, renewals, claims etc

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience in a related role such as Office Assistant, Reception or other relevant position
  • Demonstrable confident and clear communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Have good customer service skills
  • Be a team player with the ability to work using own initiative where necessary
  • Be polite, approachable, professional and reliable

Job Type - Full time, permanent

Hours of work - 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive

Pay - circa £11.00 p/hr (depending on age and experience)

On site parking
