We are looking for a skilled Product Director to lead the Payments and Fraud area at Cleo, a dynamic company focused on helping people achieve financial well-being beyond their paychecks. This role involves overseeing the Payments and Fraud sector within Cleo's Money division, comprising of 5 squads.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Vision and Strategy: Establish and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the Payments and Fraud department in alignment with Cleo's overall objectives.
  • Leadership: Recruit, nurture, and lead a productive product management team, fostering a culture of openness and collaboration.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, design, user research, and data teams to meet business and user requirements.
  • Fraud Management: Develop and implement a strong fraud management strategy, analyze user behavior for fraudulent activities, and maintain low fraud rates.
  • Payments Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive payments strategy to improve transaction efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Technology and Innovation: Advocate for adopting new technologies to enhance fraud prevention and payment processing.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular updates on payment metrics and progress to senior management.
  • Customer Value: Deliver impactful initiatives that drive customer value and business success.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate with various teams to seamlessly integrate payment components into new products.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all AML and regulatory requirements through close partnership with the compliance team.

We are looking for:

  • Expertise in Fraud and Payments: Deep understanding of fraud management and the payments ecosystem.
  • Strategic and Analytical Skills: Proven track record in developing and executing successful strategies, strong analytical skills, especially in SQL.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated leadership abilities and collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with payment platforms, systems, and data science.
  • Creativity and Drive: Creative problem-solving skills and drive for product success.
  • Experience in Fintech: Previous involvement in fintech, understanding financial technology dynamics.
