Bolt Pharmacy is a new start-up online pharmacy established in January 2024.

Founded by two pharmacists, we are seeking our first ever dispenser to create a small team.


We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative individual who can join the team and help us grow in our fast expanding business.

You will be in a non-patient-facing environment with communication mostly done through digital platforms.


We are currently hiring on a locum contract basis but are willing to offer a permanent position as the business develops.

Training and support will be provided for the role by our friendly pharmacists.

  • Someone who is adaptable and can envisage the challenges and hurdles of a new online pharmacy business
  • Have a problemsolving mindset
  • Able to use technology systems
  • Prioritise patient safety
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently
  • Use our pharmacy technology systems to process orders
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Handle patient queries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Packaging of medicine for delivery
  • Strong teamworking skills

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 dispensary assistant qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
