This is a critical position within The Boots Company PLC that will provide a single point of contact for care home customers, ensuring excellent customer care is provided at all times. The successful candidate will lead the operational running of the Care Services pharmacy, working in partnership with a local network of care homes, store teams, and GP surgeries to deliver outstanding care and drive customer retention and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage the Care Services workload to ensure operational excellence and deliver the best possible service.
- Work closely with care homes, store teams, and GP surgeries to resolve queries and issues in a timely manner.
- Lead and plan the day-to-day running of the Care Services pharmacy, including dispensing duties and supporting pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager to become an ambassador for Boots within the local community and drive new business sign-ups.
- Work to targets, utilizing exceptional time management skills to plan and prioritize workloads effectively.
The ideal candidate will be a Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent) - NVQ3 preferred but not essential. A full driving licence is also required, as the role involves visiting care homes.
