Westlakes Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Cost Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
About the Role:
- Enhance accuracy and visibility of lifecycle reporting
- Collaborate with project team to estimate target and fixed price contracts
- Develop and maintain Project Baseline Budgets
- Monitor and control project's accruals and commitments
- Provide financial performance & cost reports
Essential experience of the Cost Engineer:
- Proven track record in budgeting & cost control in a regulated industry
- Familiarity with contracting methodologies (e.g. NEC3 and NEC4)
- Previous experience in mentoring junior team members
- Proficiency in MS Excel
Qualifications for the Cost Engineer:
- HNC level qualification in cost engineering or quantity surveying
- Bachelor's degree in engineering / project / construction management
- ECITB QCF Level 5 Diploma in Cost Engineering
- Relevant professional qualification and membership
The successful candidate must be eligible for SC security clearance.
