Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Principal Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer to enhance our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience throughout the engineering lifecycle of complex systems, demonstrating the ability to deliver effective technical solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Engineering Quality of projects, adhering to client specifications and engineering standards.
  • Oversee the technical integrity of sophisticated engineering systems.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of lifecycle and maturity management.
  • Create, update, and validate technical documentation in line with client requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with Engineering Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Lead Design and System Level Reviews, ensuring designs align with project and client expectations.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of client data and information.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer with an accredited body.
  • Eligibility for security clearance; must be a sole British National.
  • Proficient in the Office 365 suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of Def-Stan and Def-Stan 00-035.
