Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Decommissioning & Waste Services team within our Nuclear & Power business. This role will involve working on complex engineering projects for clients in the Nuclear Decommissioning sector, with opportunities to develop and lead innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead design solutions for complex engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering and waste management projects, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Contribute to the development of estimates and resource plans for project bids, ensuring accurate and realistic projections.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company standards, and industry regulations, maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
  • Review and approve supplier documentation, ensuring adherence to company procedures and standards.
  • Deliver technical presentations and reports to clients, showcasing expertise and project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full lifecycle engineering, with a strong understanding of electrical circuits design, instrumentation and control systems, and safety integrity levels.
  • Excellent technical report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
