Electrical Project Engineer Opportunity

Westlakes Recruit is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Cumbria. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of engineering strategies and frameworks for designated projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the senior project team in the development and implementation of engineering strategies and frameworks.
  2. Manage materials, plant, and labour within allocated budgets and resources, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient delivery of services.
  3. Communicate systems, design information, procedures, and quality systems effectively to project teams.
  4. Verify the work of others, provide technical support, and lead or support assurance on projects through audits and regular meetings.
  5. Maintain personal expertise and knowledge to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
  6. Provide coaching and motivation to project teams to deliver high performance and create a culture of continuous improvement.
  7. Ensure efficient management of engineering to ensure it is fit for purpose from conception to installation and maintenance.
  8. Implement quality assurance principles and technical integrity to ensure customer requirements are met.
  9. Provide concise and accurate feedback on project performance to the estimating function.
  10. Implement digital tool sets to support project execution.
