I have 4 school-aged children living at home, 2 of which have additional needs. My family are important to me. I enjoy watching the TV, reading and playing games. I have also recently taken up knitting.

I use my four-wheeled walker to help me walk around my home.

It is important that I am supported to manage my own needs, as well as my children's needs.

Summary of Duties


The role is to support with my school-aged children, and that there are some tasks that are required to support with my parenting role.


PAs cannot provide any direct care to the children

  • To support with any additional grocery shopping during the week and support with putting the shopping away.
  • To prepare an evening meal for myself and my children. Ensuring my food is cut into manageable pieces to minimise my risk of choking.
  • To support client with putting a meal plan together for the week's evening meals. Planning food that is quick to prepare, which offers a balance diet and healthy foods.
  • Support with personal care/dressing (client only)
  • Prompts medication (client only)
  • Domestic/Laundry Tasks (client and children)

The Person They Are Looking For

  • Easygoing with a sense of humour
  • Patient and understanding
  • Trustworthy
  • Experience of cooking and planning meals is essential.
  • PAs are to be fully DBS checked (Adults & Children), and also complete training in Safeguarding (Children & Adults).

The Times Required

  • Monday am am
  • Tuesday 10.00am am
  • Thursday am 1.00pm
  • Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 5.30pm
