- Build positive relationships with the children and young people, fostering open and two-way communication.
- Support the children and young people to make progress in every area of their lives, working collaboratively with other agencies.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of child-centered care plans, ensuring the needs of each individual are met.
- Maintain accurate records and establish effective methods of communication with the children and young people.
- Assist with mealtimes, activities of daily living, and personal care, promoting independence and dignity.
- A genuine interest in providing person-centered care and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels.
- Experience working in the care sector or learning disabilities is an advantage, but not essential.
- A full clean driving license and willingness to transport children and young people in the company mini bus would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
