Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children and young people in your care
- Build positive relationships with the children and young people, promoting open and two-way communication
- Support the children and young people to make progress in every area of their lives
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of child-centred care plans, working collaboratively with other agencies
- Maintain accurate records of the children's progress and well-being
- Establish effective methods of communication with the children and young people, reducing barriers when necessary
- Assist with mealtimes and activities of daily living, as required
- A genuine interest in providing person-centred care and support to children and young people
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Experience working in the care sector or with learning disabilities is an advantage, but not essential
- A full clean driving licence and willingness to transport children and young people in the company mini bus would be an advantage, but not essential
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
