Global Head of Derivative and Regulatory Reporting – London (hybrid)

As the Global Head of Derivative and Regulatory Reporting with Convera, based in our London office (hybrid home / office), you will be leading the teams responsible for reporting Payments and OTC Derivative data to global regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders. This is a hybrid role that requires you to come to our London office (Finsbury Square, EC2A 1AH) at least 2-3 days per week.

You will be responsible for :


• Leading the Derivative and Regulatory Reporting teams responsible, which are responsible for reporting to global external regulatory bodies including the reporting and monitoring of Payments and OTC Derivatives.

• Leading in the production and agreement of solution designs, incorporating inputs from Business, Compliance, Legal and Technical teams.

• Leading in the design and execution of data architecture for our regulatory and derivative reporting.

• Leading engagements with regulators and external auditors to for all technical matters relating to regulatory or derivative reporting.

• Communicating with product managers on product roadmap, prioritization of requirements and sprint release/plans.

• Co-ordinating with business stakeholders to acquire user feedback and refine requirements.

• Leading and developing a team to drive strong business, compliance, and data knowledge.

You should apply if you have:


• Extensive experience in leading reporting teams in the Financial Industry such as audit, compliance, middle office support, project management, risk management, or implementation of strategic operational plans.

• The role requires adaptability to operate in a fast-changing environment, where there are many systems and regulatory challenges.

• A deep understanding of how a global, highly regulated company works, and at least a base-level understanding of Payments and OTC Derivative products.

• Ideally you will also have experience with compliance and regulatory reporting bodies (e.g. FINTRAC, ASIC, AUSTRAC, CFTC, FCA etc.).

• Working experience utilizing and navigating reporting and reconciliation platforms such as DTCC Derivative Repository (DDR).

• A Bachelor's (or similar) degree in finance or other relevant field, or relevant work experience.

• Familiarity with coding languages such as SQL and cloud databases like Snowflake.

• Ability to produce clear, concise documents from multiple stakeholder groups.

• 'Hands-on, can do' attitude.
