Get to Know Your Manager

In this position, you will be reporting to our Head of Grants, Eleonora. With a background in environmental NGOs, Eleonora oversees the management of ClientEarth's diverse funding sources. She brings a wealth of experience in environmental policy and conservation projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Funding Portfolio Management - Maintain a deep understanding of the grants portfolio and the mix of funding sources.
  • Internal and External Communications - Engage with portfolio managers to discuss proposals and provide updates on programmatic work.
  • Project Management - Efficiently handle reporting and grant renewal processes, collaborating with teams across ClientEarth's offices.
  • Financial Planning and Budget Handling - Collaborate with Finance and Programmes teams to develop budgets for funding proposals.
  • Systems and Processes - Ensure the upkeep of funder databases and organizational systems on a daily basis.

Role Requirements

  • Previous experience in grant or project management within the non-profit sector or other relevant industries.
  • Experience in reporting to private foundations and trusts.
  • Proficiency in drafting proposals and securing funding from various institutions.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial practices in non-profit or charity settings.
