Are you passionate about construction projects and cost control? We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a reputable construction company specializing in civil engineering, building works, design and build, building refurbishment, and maintenance works.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, conducting feasibility studies, analyzing contractor bids, and monitoring project costs to ensure adherence to budget. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with proven experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Analyze and evaluate contractor bids and proposals

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (not essential)
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques
- Proficient in using cost estimation software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful completion of construction projects.
