Key responsibilities of the Project Worker:

  • Supporting customers with learning and physical disabilities to enhance their independence
  • Providing one-to-one assistance as needed
  • Conducting risk assessments and evaluating customer needs for safety
  • Regularly updating and maintaining support plans based on customer requirements
  • Establishing professional relationships with customers and respecting their privacy and choices
  • Organizing group activities to promote well-being

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults with disabilities
  • Empathy and understanding towards individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Proficient in record-keeping and support plan development
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs and internet use
  • Preferably NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to obtain
