The Corporate Property Division at Norfolk County Council is seeking to enhance its team dedicated to managing property and construction projects.

Norfolk County Council oversees a varied portfolio of properties essential for public service delivery. To maintain the functionality of these facilities, renovations and modifications are frequently required. The Corporate Property Division supervises construction initiatives across the NCC estate to achieve these objectives.

A dedicated team of Project Managers executes these construction initiatives, and we are looking for an individual to provide support and assistance to this team and their supervisor, the Senior Construction Manager.

Key responsibilities encompass aiding in the planning and execution of building and construction initiatives initiated by the Corporate Property Division. Projects generally involve the renovation and expansion of commercial and residential structures, including libraries, children's homes, fire stations, museums, offices, farmhouses, and agricultural buildings, along with select new constructions.

This position supports Project Managers and the Senior Construction Project Manager with administrative duties, procurement processes, financial oversight, quality assurance, and maintaining project records, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role, with a solid understanding of the property and construction industry. A proactive mindset is essential in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a significant workload. A professional Project Management qualification is a prerequisite for the right candidate.
