About the Role


We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can provide administrative support to the Communications team, which currently consists of 7 experienced Comms professionals.

They are open to innovative ideas and have an excellent reputation for delivering quality results.


You will be an integral part of the team and will be highly organised, able to work to deadlines, deliver quality outcomes at pace, and will be keen to take hold of all the opportunities this role offers to further build your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collating Management Information (MI) on visits and events, analysing data and metrics to track communication outcomes.
  • Providing diary and business support to the Deputy Director of Communications.
  • Providing critical support to the Comms team, including by arranging and coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, and resolving business administration issues where they arise.
  • Supporting across all communications disciplines including media and digital, stakeholder engagement and visits and events.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with other government departments (particularly their Wales based teams).
  • Travel may be required to provide administrative support on Ministerial visits or when attending stakeholder meetings.
