About ND Care & Support Ltd
We are a registered member of the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) and have provided a range of bespoke domiciliary care and community care services for children, young adults, adults, and older people throughout Wales since 2010.
About the Role
As a Community Support Care Worker, you will be required to support and deliver our offering of sessional care services to adults who have additional support needs due to learning, and/or physical disabilities, or poor mental health.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop independent living skills such as cooking and shopping
- Promote social development by supporting the individual to attend activities, such as bowling, swimming, and going to the cinema
- Promote well-being
- Prepare food and support with a healthy balanced diet
- Provide companionship
What We Offer
- New starter bonus of £250
- Paid travel and waiting time up to 30 minutes
- Paid mileage on support sessions (40p per mile)
- Full-time hours and set shifts
- £12.00ph weekdays and £12.50ph on weekends
- Full visits/calls paid, not minute by minute
- Refer a Friend bonus of £150 for you and your friend if they join us
Requirements
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full ongoing training and support will be provided
- Be a caring and compassionate person, with a passion for supporting the most vulnerable people in our community
- Have a calm and flexible approach to work
- Have a full driving license, access to a vehicle, and business insurance
- Be happy to travel in the community to provide care and support
- Be able to commit to set sessions each week
