Due to continued year on year growth and significant investment in the Brand positioning and route to market, 47SKIN is now embarking on a clear product and target audience strategy that will help create more amazing products, engaging content / stories that resonate with this audience and generate high lifetime value.

Finally, a number of new roles across the business have been created to help expedite growth, this being one of them.


About The Role:


Reporting into the Head of Brand, at the core of this role you will be responsible for upholding the 47Skin brand tone of voice, which is clearly defined, and utilising this to own ALL BRAND COMMUNICATIONS - across website, paid, organic, CRM and print.

Intrinsic to your success will be the ability to truly understand the 47Skin consumer and deliver messaging that resonates with them across all media platforms.

You will ideate for new ads; new posts, story tell and lead that creative with key team members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop thumbstopping social posts and paid media content to engage the 47Skin consumer
  • Maintain and uphold 47Skins' brand voice, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging strategies across all marketing materials, both digital, social and print
  • Create SEOfriendly and super optimised content for the website and other digital assets.
  • Develop copy that both builds the brand and converts to sales analysing past performance and building insights to improve and iterate
  • Work hand in hand with creative lead to develop new concepts & ideas to drive the business
  • Writing content that keeps 47Skin relevant with latest trends, topics & themes in and outside of the industry to drive more brand engagement and elevate the Brand
  • Writing storyboards for paid social ads
  • Messaging for paid social, website banners
  • Writing scripts for video content; TVC and long format, founder/UGC creators for repurposing across organic social, paid ads, CRM
  • Work collaboratively with Brand, Trading and Performance Marketing teams, incorporating feedback for a cohesive creative process
  • Exhibit a creative mindset with a passion for effective storytelling and communication
  • 5 years of experience in creative copywriting, preferably in the beauty/skincare sector
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing styles and formats, with a focus on campaigns, web content and trendfocused blogs
  • Stay current on skincare industry trends and emerging best practices
  • Can adapt writing style for different platforms, audiences, and channels
  • Proficient in understanding and articulating complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing trends
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in crafting errorfree copy
  • Possess strong proofreading abilities to catch grammatical errors, typos, and formatting issues
  • Demonstrate effective time management to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects concurrently
