We're looking for a talented Creative Copywriter to join our newly formed Brand and Content team and engage audiences in our story – powerfully and consistently.
In this role you will be our in-house copy expert, working collaboratively to elevate how we speak to our audiences and drive engagement across a variety of formats and channels.
You will provide editorial, creative and copywriting expertise in line with our tone of voice, house style, brand guidelines and communications principles.
You will play an active role as part of the Brand and Content team in planning and shaping the content we produce to support our marketing, fundraising, and influencing goals.
And you'll model how to execute ethical creative ideas through the power of words – and upskill others to do the same.
This role sits within the Strategic Communications and Content Unit and is part of the Influencing and External Affairs Directorate.
The unit is a dynamic and integrated team that drives the organisation's mission through effective communication and compelling content creation.
It also works closely with the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Directorate.
To be our successful candidate, you will have experience of creating and editing powerful, impactful copy and content across a variety of formats and channels that resonates with audiences – online and offline.
You will be passionate about words and understand their power, selecting them thoughtfully to ensure our storytelling is clear, authentic, inclusive and anti-racist.
You will be able to demonstrate you're a true team player and willing to contribute to the operation of a small and creative content team.
And you will have strong interpersonal skills that help you ace creative briefs and elevate how we communicate right across the organisation.
