We are a busy and well-respected independent pharmacy located in the Springbourne area of Bournemouth, and we pride ourselves on offering excellent customer care within the local community and beyond.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, and Saturday 9am to 1pm on a rota basis.
- Enthusiastic and selfconfident
- Friendly and able to build a good rapport with customers
- Wellorganised with good timemanagement skills
As a counter assistant you will
- Provide excellent customer service
- Offer informed advice on appropriate treatment of minor ailments and products
- Support the delivery of professional pharmacy services
- Maintain high standards of the shop appearance through effective merchandising and housekeeping.
- Sell medicines and handle prescriptions in line with the current pharmacy legislation and company policy
- Order, return and maintain stock levels
- Answering the telephone and taking patients prescription requests and handling pharmacy queries.
- Checking orders for both Pharmacy shop and dispensary. Stocking shelves in shop and stock rotation.
- Learning about prescription handout and patient confidentiality. How to become an excellent communicator and treat everyone with respect.
- Delivering medication to patents when main delivery driver is off.
