Mid Corporate is a Relationship Management business within Business and Commercial Banking. We're responsible for the overall management of client relationships whose turnover is between £25m - £200m. It's an exciting and wide-ranging segment spanning a variety of sectors and central to our purpose of Helping Britain Prosper
You'll be joining a successful diverse team which spans keys regions of the UK and enables significant opportunity for personal development and growth

As the Relationship Director you'll work within our Mid Corporates business and help local businesses in Liverpool, North Wales and the North West prosper by offering the funding, support, financial services, and the inspiration they need to grow.

There is an expectation to grow the portfolio, by attracting high quality and high value clients.

You'd be an integral part of the local market, developing business opportunity, and representing the group in the professional and business community.

Prior successful experience in Corporate or Commercial banking, an appetite to originate new business opportunities, alongside:

Relationship Skills – Proactive in developing relationships and building partnerships with customers passionate about supporting their current and future needs.

Able to think clearly and listen to clients/colleagues, influence decision making and be flexible on points of discussion where appropriate.

Credit Analysis – Strong credit analysis skills to assess, analyse and interpret financial and non financial information, client strategy and business operations and management teams.

Ability to produce high quality credit applications and consider all issues, structuring considerations and risks before making recommendations.
