Motor Client Relationship Manager

Location: Remote position with occasional travel as necessary.

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

About the Role:

The Motor Client Relationship Manager plays a crucial role as the primary liaison for clients within the Davies insurance sector. This position focuses on cultivating robust relationships with both technical and procurement teams in client organizations, establishing the manager as a trusted consultant. By understanding client requirements, the manager advocates for these needs internally to guarantee exceptional service delivery. With a keen commercial insight and outstanding communication skills, the Motor Client Relationship Manager engages deeply with client operations, anticipating challenges and proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships. This role encompasses the entire client engagement process, from onboarding new clients to the continuous management of daily interactions and performance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Oversee daily communications with a portfolio of motor clients to ensure satisfaction and uphold positive relations.
  • Develop and sustain strong connections with various technical and supply chain management teams within client organizations.
  • Actively solicit client feedback and insights to create a tailored engagement strategy that aligns with each client's unique goals.
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of client engagement and growth strategies.

Service Delivery:

  • Advocate for client needs and objectives internally to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate internal efforts to enhance service delivery based on client needs and resolve any issues swiftly and effectively.

Onboarding and Implementation:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of new client onboarding, ensuring a seamless and timely launch.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their specific requirements and customize services and engagement plans accordingly.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure all client-specific setups and configurations are completed in line with client expectations.

Performance Management and Reporting:

  • Coordinate with the reporting team to ensure timely and accurate production of client management information prior to distribution.
  • Track and report on service performance metrics to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments with clients to evaluate satisfaction and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

Proactive Engagement:

  • Engage deeply with client businesses and stay updated on developments in the motor insurance market to foresee challenges and opportunities.
  • Proactively collaborate with internal teams to address client and market changes, maintaining high service standards.
  • Keep clients informed about relevant industry trends and their potential impact on their operations, while offering appropriate solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in relationship management within the insurance sector.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Familiarity with the motor insurance claims landscape.
  • Proactive and independent in addressing client challenges.
  • Solid understanding of management information reporting with attention to detail.
