On-call Coordinator - Out of hours/weekends - Wolverhampton


Secure Healthcare Solutions is a Wolverhampton based care provider delivering high quality support to service users with a wide range of conditions and challenges.

We work in partnership with Councils, CCG's, Local Authorities, and Self-Funded individuals across the West Midlands and beyond.


Care is not a 9-5 and we need to be able to support our care staff in the field and clients by providing back up support and contingency in the event of unforeseen challanges which occur.


We are therefore seeking out of hours coordinators to provide first point of contact cover from 6am - 11pm, across 7 days.

This will consist of a split shift 6am to 8.30am & 5pm to 11pm and Weekend shifts 6.00am - 3pm & 3pm-11pm.


As anyone with experience of care will be aware, on odd occasions things can run smoothy, in the event of this the OCC would support with duties relating to our ongoing recruitment process such as responding to enquires and initial contact with new applicants.

Main Duties

  • Covering incoming shifts and Cancellations
  • Confirming shift bookings (On inhouse system and mobile app)
Skill set and experience required

  • Knowledge or experience in an "oncall" setting
  • Experience of rotas / booking systems
  • Experience is a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent levels of customer service
  • A high attention to detail
  • Driven and hardworking
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
