Louth, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom Lincolnshire County Council Full time

Are you looking for a satisfying and meaningful position that contributes to your local community? Are you free during school term times to join Lincolnshire County Council as a School Crossing Patrol Officer?

If you have a keen interest in promoting active travel and enhancing community safety, consider becoming part of our Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership Team on Riverhead Road - Louth.

In this part-time role (working 6 hours 15 minutes per week during term time. Split into 40 minutes at the start and 35 minutes at the end of the school day), you'll be professionally trained to manage traffic and create a positive difference in the community, guiding families across a designated crossing point. Each day, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of children during their travels to and from school. The rewards you'll experience will be priceless like witnessing the smiles and enthusiastic faces of the students waiting to greet you.

With a passion for working outdoors, you'll punctually arrive at the start and end of the school day, and you'll enjoy assisting and interacting with children, drivers, parents, educators, and even greeting the occasional furry companion. You will, of course, receive an attention-grabbing uniform to keep you secure, visible, warm, and dry

Join our team and benefit from competitive hourly wages, a comprehensive rewards and perks package, and the chance to contribute to a safer school community and surroundings.
