We are looking for an energetic Human Resources Business Partners to join our new Human Resources Team. You will be based in our modern Nursing Home, located near East Finchley Tube station, Hammerson House.


As a Business Partner within Nightingale Hammerson, you will be responsible for providing expertise and support across the full employee lifecycle.

Including recruitment and selection, employee relations, employee training, coaching and development.

This role will suit an ambitious individual, the position has great scope to develop and grow the Human Resource. You must be hands-on, operational and possess strong organizational skills. An adaptable and flexible person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

What will your typical day involve?

  • Providing the first point of contact support for employees/managers across all Human Resources areas
  • Support the implementation of our People strategy including compensation and benefits, training, strategic recruitment programs and employee relations programs.
  • Partnering with Recruitment Team and Hiring Managers to support our recruitment and provide informed feedback to all
  • Participate in the development of Human Resources policies and procedures and assume an active supporting role in their implementation.
  • Handle employee relations issues, supporting Managers with investigations of misconduct issues, complaints, or grievances; problem and conflict resolution and corrective actions
  • Assist in creating and implementing employee engagement programs and initiatives.
  • Support the payroll administration, maintain our HRIS, and assist in ad hoc reporting.
  • Assist with the implementation of new initiatives and perform other duties as required and assigned
  • Manage the onboarding and induction processes including running Day 1 Induction.
  • Support the business to achieve improved performance and operational effectiveness.

Who are we looking for?
You will ideally have a CIPD Qualification or be on the way to achieving one.


With excellent people skills and first-class organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to use your own initiative and strong IT skills, detail-oriented and have the ability to work in an environment with competing deadlines and changing priorities.


You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment.

Often managing multiple requests at once, you'll be comfortable multitasking, able to work on your own initiative unsupervised and where necessary working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.

Full Time hours a week

Salary
£45,000 to £49,000 depending on experience
