Human Resources Business Partner

Castlefield Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading Public Sector organisation based in London that requires an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a 12-month fixed term contract in July. This is a hybrid role with one day per week required on site.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. To provide HR and ER support to Managers and senior members of staff
  2. Maintain and amend as necessary the HR Policies and Procedures
  3. Implement HR, OD and transition programmes and plans
  4. Manage interdependencies and benefits and proactively manage risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of various programmes and projects
  5. Develop good relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful
  6. To work with key stakeholders
  7. Provide support to key members of the management and operational teams

Key experience required:

  1. Relevant qualification in HR Management (Level 7) OR equivalent with proof of suitable HR related experience
  2. Expert level of strategic workforce issues, including legislation, and best practice
  3. Significant knowledge of UK employment legislation case law and good HR practice in order to deal with complex employee relations issues
  4. Detailed understanding of the principles of change management and able to demonstrate a successful track record of major organisational change
  5. Knowledge of business planning, project management and risk management, and how those processes might be applied to organisational change
  6. Significant experience of facilitating and managing change
  7. Experience of HR management and change implementation in a unionised environment
  8. Experience of Trade Union consultation and negotiation
  9. Evidence of effective working at a senior level in large, complex, environments
  10. Significant experience of facilitating and managing change and complex employee relations cases
  11. The ability to work collaboratively in a team and across systems
  12. Rigorous, good eye for detail
