We are specifically working with a 'good' Primary school in (La12) who are looking to secure the services of an Teaching Assistant, for long-term position to start ASAP.


The school aims to support young people with Teaching Assistants to learn, make steps in improving and enjoy achieving success within a caring, structured learning environment is provided in which all Teaching assistants will help pupils to develop academically, socially and emotionally and in which pupils and staff feel safe, secure and valued.

This role is to start asap with the potential to be long term.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
  • Provide oneonone support to students with special education needs
  • Mentor and guide students in their academic and social development
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist in classroom management and behavior support
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Provide tutoring and additional support to students who require extra assistance

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special education needs
  • Knowledge of special education principles and practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others learn and succeed
