We're on the lookout for a **French-speaking Accounts Assistant** to join us on a temporary basis until December 2024. This is a hybrid role, splitting your time between two days in our Darlington office and the rest from home.

This position runs from Monday to Friday, offering a pay rate of **£15ph**. If you're up for it, there's a chance to work longer hours Monday to Thursday to knock off early at 2 pm on a Friday.

Our client, a top manufacturing company, needs someone proficient in both **French** and **English**, ideally coming from a background in accounts or finance. Don't worry if you don't have experience in the Accounts Payable function yet; we'll provide full training.

Duties include:

  • Review and manage invoices and credit notes
  • Match PO's for system entries
  • Resolve queries promptly
  • Handle all AP inquiries from both internal and external parties
  • Conduct statement reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and prep for audits
  • Meet SLA targets consistently

Desired qualifications:

  • Previous accounts payable experience
  • Proficiency in both French and English
