Are you available full time?


Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely primary school based in Birmingham who are in need of Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants up until the end of the acdemic year.

The role is full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm. The role willrequire you to work with children across reception, Ks1 and Ks2.

The role is intially temporray up until the end of the academic year however for the right person will be permanent.

  • You have an ability to work with a range of children and young people with additional and complex needs.
  • You are a team player who can build good working relationships with colleagues.

  • You have good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills.
  • You are committed to ongoing professional development.
  • You have high aspirations in teaching and learning for all children and young people
  • Available full time
  • Hold relevant qualification e.g. psychology/criminology degree
  • Previous experience working with / supporting children in a professional setting is highly desirable however not essential
  • Ability to take direction form the class teacher and be able to follow instruction well
  • Desire to want to support
  • Ability to work with children on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Work using your initiative
The school is a 'Good' graded school and are keen to bring on someone to join their team as soon as possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
