About the Role:

PK Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology Graduate to join a SEND school located in the heart of Birmingham.

The successful candidate will provide support to pupils across various subjects and activities, assist with lesson planning and classroom management, and support with 1-1 and small group activities to target development for lower ability pupils.

The ideal candidate will work closely with pupils who have English as an Additional Language (EAL), Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, communication difficulties, and language challenges.

The successful candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment that inspires pupils and collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure each child's unique needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide support to pupils across various subjects and activities.
  2. Assist with lesson planning and classroom management.
  3. Support with 1-1 and small group activities to target development for lower ability pupils.
  4. Work closely with pupils who have EAL, SEND, SEMH needs, communication difficulties, and language challenges.
  5. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that inspires pupils.
  6. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure each child's unique needs are met.
