St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust (STOC) is seeking to appoint a Head of Safeguarding.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that safeguarding practices in their widest definition across the St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust are effective and that all members of the Trust family are confident in safeguarding systems and processes with full awareness of their role and the roles of others in keeping all children and colleagues safe from harm.

We are seeking an individual who:
  • Will play a pivotal role in driving a diligent culture of safeguarding across all aspects of the Trust's work,
  • Will further establish, and maintain a culture of safeguarding that is exemplary, both within and across the trust and in each of our schools,
  • Will work closely with the CSEL, CPO, Headteachers and School Designated Safeguarding Leads,
  • Will contribute to the strategic objectives of the trust via your first-class leadership of all strategic plans that aim to ensure that our pupils and staff are safe and happy.
  • Will be named as the Trust Safeguarding Lead.
