Job Title: OEM National Sales Manager

Salary: £45,000 per annum with £13,000 OTE

Working Hours: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Covering from Birmingham to the North, along the M62 Corridor

About the Job: We are looking for a dynamic OEM National Sales Manager to join our team, covering the Birmingham to the North region. Our client is a leading fixings manufacturer globally.

Job Objectives:

  • Drive growth in the National OEM sales market by expanding current business and exploring new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the German Team to establish a strategic approach to OEM and Key Account management.
  • Provide support and training to the OEM Team in technical, commercial, and administrative areas.

Main Duties:

  • Identify new target customers/markets in the UK and internationally.
  • Work with the OEM Team to pursue new markets aligned with company goals.
  • Assist OEM team members with their responsibilities and objectives.
  • Resolve any internal issues affecting performance.
  • Develop tailored technical solutions in collaboration with the Technical Department.
  • Manage and expand current account relationships.
  • Drive continuous profitable growth with a strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with Marketing for product promotion.
  • Work on competitive pricing with the Technical Sales Director.
  • Keep track of account activity in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on projects and sales forecasts.

Personal Profile: Skills and Experience

  • Background in the fixings/construction industry is a must.
  • Engineering background is beneficial.
  • Experience in Sales/Account Management/National Accounts (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Ability to innovate and problem-solve.
  • Effective at presenting technical details to senior customers.
  • Skilled negotiator with conflict resolution abilities.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and adaptable.
  • Willing to travel as needed.

Product Knowledge:

  • Thorough understanding of the Company's Products and Competitors.
