This busy daytime role is 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, working 8 hours with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break between the centre's opening hours of 7.30am-4pm), so you'll appreciate having your evenings and weekends free.
Experience of catering for large numbers is required as you will be planning, preparing and cooking vegetarian meals for up to 100 children each day, using the guidance and support offered through our Nourished Beginnings affiliation.
Your understanding of children's nutritional needs and the ability to cater for dietary/allergy requirements is also essential for this role, as well as being capable of keeping within budget and ordering supplies.

- Competent in preparing, cooking and serving food that follows our recipes
- Committed to the highest standards of cleanliness, and adhering to our policies and procedures

- Proficient in verbal and written English
